Enhancing Security: Police and Customs Unite for Stronger Collaboration

In a significant move to foster interagency cooperation, Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) Olumuyiwa Adejobi, the Public Relations Officer of the Nigeria Police Force, visited the headquarters of the Nigeria Customs Service in Abuja on July 9, 2024. There, he met with Chief Superintendent of Customs (CSC) Abdullahi Maiwada, the National Public Relations Officer of the Nigeria Customs Service.


ACP Adejobi highlighted the crucial role that both the Nigeria Police Force and the Nigeria Customs Service play in ensuring national security and economic stability. 

He emphasized that collaborative efforts between the two agencies would enhance their ability to serve the public effectively

"Our roles as security agencies are crucial to national security and economic stability

"By working together, we can better discharge our responsibilities and serve the public more effectively, he stated.

CSC Maiwada echoed this sentiment, expressing his optimism about the strengthened relationship between the two agencies

'This visit is a significant step towards strengthening our relationship with the Nigeria Police Force

"Our combined efforts will undoubtedly enhance our operational efficiency and public service delivery

The meeting focused on exploring areas of mutual interest where cooperation could improve their respective functions and public image.


Both parties concluded the visit with a commitment to enhancing national security and economic prosperity through their collaborative efforts.
