In a remarkable display of compassion and solidarity, three Corps Members serving as Camp Directors at the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) Orientation Camp in Kusalla Dam, Karaye, Kano State, have donated a brand-new wheelchair to their physically challenged colleague.

The donors, Oyeniyi Kudus (KN/24C/2988), Sangonuga Saidat Olorire (KN/24C/2525), and Olunuga David Oluwatobi (KN/24C/2679), stated that their gesture was driven by a desire to improve the mobility and overall camp experience of their fellow Corps Member, Ugwuese Emelda (KN/24C/3283), who had been struggling to move around the camp premises.

Emelda, a Public Administration graduate from the Federal Polytechnic, Oko, Anambra State, and a native of Enugu State, expressed heartfelt gratitude to her colleagues for their generosity and support.

The Director General of the NYSC, Brigadier General YD Ahmed, praised the donors for prioritizing the welfare of a fellow Corps Member despite having only recently met during the orientation exercise.

He urged others to emulate their example by extending help to those in need, emphasizing that no act of kindness is too small or too great.

The gesture has been widely applauded as a testament to the spirit of unity and service that defines the NYSC program.
