Nigeria Customs Releases Final List for ASC II Recruitment, Sets Medical Upload Deadline

The Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) has announced the release of the final list of successful candidates for appointment into the rank of Assistant Superintendent of Customs II (ASC II) in its 2024/2025 recruitment exercise.

In a statement issued by the National Public Relations Officer of the Service, Deputy Comptroller of Customs Abdullahi Maiwada, on behalf of the Comptroller-General of Customs, candidates were advised to check their recruitment status on the official NCS website and in selected national newspapers.

According to the statement, successful candidates will also receive notifications through their registered email addresses and SMS, containing instructions on the next stage of the recruitment process.

The Service disclosed that the online portal for uploading Medical Certificates of Fitness will become active on Wednesday, 29 July 2026. Candidates are required to obtain a valid Medical Certificate of Fitness from a government-recognised hospital and upload it via update.customs.gov.ng using either their National Identification Number (NIN) or registered email address.

The Customs Service directed candidates to complete the upload process within one week of the portal's activation.

In addition, successful applicants are expected to update their current state of residence on the recruitment portal and formally accept the provisional offer of appointment by clicking the "Accept Offer" button. The Service said successful candidates would subsequently receive their Trainee Identification Number within one week.

The NCS added that further information regarding documentation, physical screening, dates, venues and other requirements would be communicated through its official channels.

The Service warned candidates to strictly adhere to all instructions and timelines, stressing that failure to comply with any of the stipulated requirements could lead to disqualification and forfeiture of the provisional offer of appointment.

On behalf of the Nigeria Customs Service Board, the Comptroller-General of Customs congratulated all successful candidates, expressing confidence that they would contribute to the Service's commitment to professionalism, integrity and dedicated service to the nation.
