The Minister of Defence, Gen. Christopher Gwabin Musa (retd.), has felicitated the First Lady of Nigeria, Oluremi Tinubu, on the occasion of her birthday.

Musa, in a statement signed by his Special Adviser on Media, Leah Katung-Babatunde, extended his congratulations to the First Lady on behalf of the Ministry of Defence, the Armed Forces of Nigeria and his family.

The minister described Mrs Tinubu as a beacon of hope, grace and compassion, commending her contributions to national development and her support for President Bola Tinubu.

He particularly acknowledged her efforts through the Renewed Hope Initiative, which he said had focused on empowering women and youths, supporting vulnerable communities and promoting social welfare across the country.

“Her motherly guidance, wisdom, and selfless advocacy for peace and national unity remain invaluable to the nation,” Musa said.

The Defence Minister also commended the First Lady for her support for members of the Armed Forces and their families, noting her empathy and encouragement towards personnel serving on the frontlines to protect the country.

He prayed for God’s continued blessings, robust health, long life, wisdom and renewed strength for the First Lady as she continues to support the administration’s efforts towards achieving peace, security and prosperity in Nigeria.

Musa said the Ministry of Defence joined the First Family, friends, well-wishers and Nigerians across the country in wishing Senator Tinubu a memorable birthday and many more years of impactful service to humanity.
