The Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) men's and women's volleyball teams continued their impressive run at the ongoing **3rd Comptroller-General of Customs (CGC) Volleyball Premier League** in Abuja, recording convincing victories on Day Six to maintain their unbeaten records in the first phase of the competition.

Sponsored for the third consecutive year by the **Comptroller-General of Customs**, the league has attracted top volleyball clubs from across Nigeria, further reaffirming the Nigeria Customs Service's commitment to the development of the sport and athlete welfare.

The **NCS women's team**, chasing a third consecutive Premier League title after winning the last two editions, delivered another dominant performance with a straight-set victory over Fire Service, winning **25-12, 25-16, 25-13**. Their commanding display once again highlighted why they remain the team to beat in the women's category.

In the men's competition, the **Nigeria Customs Service** also maintained their fine form, defeating Ajase Ipo Volleyball Club in straight sets **25-18, 25-17, 25-22**. The result keeps the Customs side firmly in contention as they seek to improve on last season's runners-up finish and reclaim the league title from defending champions CNS Spikers.

Elsewhere on Day Six, CNS Spikers overcame Kano Pillars 3-1, NSCDC defeated Sunshine Spikers 3-0, UCEM Volleyball Club swept past Offa Volleyball Club in straight sets, COAS Spikers beat Lifecamp VC 3-0, while the Nigeria Correctional Service rallied from a set down to defeat the Nigeria Police Force 3-1.

In the women's fixtures, Anambra Queens defeated Life Camp VC 3-0, NSCDC edged VIP & Partners in a five-set thriller, Olalomi Royal Angels cruised past Excelsior VC 3-0, COAS Spikers defeated CNS Spikers 3-1, and Benue Queens came from behind to beat Kada Emeralds 3-1.

With clubs from across the country competing in the Premier League, the tournament continues to showcase the growing standard of volleyball in Nigeria. Beyond sponsorship, the Nigeria Customs Service has continued to invest significantly in its athletes through improved welfare, quality coaching, and consistent participation in major competitions.

Speaking on the team's campaign, the coaches of both the men's and women's Customs teams expressed confidence in their players' performances, while emphasizing the importance of remaining focused as the competition progresses.

The NCS women's side will be aiming to secure an unprecedented third straight Premier League crown, while the men's team hopes to go one step further after finishing second last season. However, despite remaining unbeaten after the opening five days and extending that run on Day Six, both teams know the task is far from over. Maintaining consistency and momentum will be crucial if they are to lift the trophies when the league concludes.
