The Director General of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has congratulated the 2025 Batch 'B' Stream I Corps Members on the successful completion of their one-year national service, commending them for their dedication, patriotism and contributions to national development.
In his farewell message to the outgoing corps members, the NYSC Director General expressed appreciation on behalf of the Scheme and the nation for their commitment and selfless service throughout their service year.
He noted that the corps members made significant contributions to their various Places of Primary Assignment, positively impacting communities across the country while demonstrating the ideals of nation-building.
The Director General urged the outgoing corps members to carry the values of discipline, unity and selfless service beyond the NYSC programme, stressing that these principles would continue to guide them towards greater achievements in their future endeavours.
He also encouraged them to remain worthy ambassadors of the Scheme by upholding the ideals of the NYSC wherever they find themselves, adding that their conduct should always reflect honour, integrity and patriotism.
The NYSC boss further advised the corps members to make productive use of the knowledge and skills acquired through the Skills Acquisition and Entrepreneurship Development (SAED) programme, describing entrepreneurship as a viable pathway to self-reliance and economic growth.
According to him, applying the entrepreneurial skills gained during the service year would not only create opportunities for personal success but also position them as employers of labour capable of contributing to the nation's economic development.
He also charged the outgoing corps members to remain committed to the ideals of one united Nigeria, emphasizing that the country's progress depends on the collective efforts and dedication of all citizens.
The Director General urged them to continue working together in unity, hope and determination towards building a stronger, more prosperous and peaceful nation.
