The Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) has announced the commencement of physical screening and documentation for successful candidates shortlisted in its ongoing recruitment exercise.

The exercise will be conducted at the Nigeria Customs Command and Staff College (NCCSC), Gwagwalada, Abuja, with candidates expected to appear on the dates allocated to their respective states and cadres.

In a statement issued by the National Public Relations Officer of the NCS, Deputy Comptroller Abdullahi Maiwada, on behalf of the Comptroller General of Customs, Bashir Adewale Adeniyi, the Service said attendance at the exercise is compulsory.

The NCS directed shortlisted candidates to come along with the original and photocopies of their National Identification Number (NIN), Birth Certificate or Declaration of Age, as well as relevant educational certificates, including O’Level, National Diploma (ND), Higher National Diploma (HND), Degree and other applicable qualifications.

Candidates are also required to present a Certificate of State of Origin, two recent passport photographs, a completed Guarantor’s Form and NYSC Certificate, where applicable.

The Service further directed candidates to appear for the exercise in a white T-shirt, shorts and canvas shoes.

It warned candidates against reporting outside their designated dates, stressing that failure to appear as scheduled could lead to disqualification from the recruitment process.

According to the Service, candidates who successfully complete the physical screening and documentation will receive further instructions concerning subsequent stages of the recruitment exercise.

The NCS, under the leadership of Comptroller-General Adeniyi and his management team, reiterated its commitment to ensuring that the recruitment process remains transparent, fair and merit-based.

The Service also urged candidates and members of the public to rely solely on official NCS communication channels for accurate information and to be wary of unauthorised persons or platforms providing recruitment-related information.
